She takes nice pictures of me...
haha but she doesn't like me taking hers.
Ever since I watched How I met your mother it became a dream of mine to live somewhere where there would be a bar downstairs and that's how it is now 😉
The Wandering soul became a reference for my own place, at the beginning I couldn't remember my address but I remembered the bar. And with time it also became a place where I stop by every now and then and talk to the owner, play with the cute corgi HuangTou and get surprised by whatever drink he would give me that time, from green bean beer, to floral tea beer or Sichuan pepper gin, I tried the guava and the pineapple Corona and he even gave me mezcal the other night 😉
I'm just grateful to meet amazing people along the way 💜

Cause it's always nice to celebrate with those who we are lucky enough to find along the way.
Friends/family/support, however you called them, no matter if they're there for a long or a short time... it's all about the people... and the doggies 💜

This was my fifth Christmas in China and my fourth Christmas at Mars. Enjoying the delightful feast that @soba_soba_baby prepared.
I'm so lucky to have found beautiful people that make me feel loved on this side of the world. These holidays are always difficult, I used to love Christmas time when I was a kid, my family made a big effort to make this time a wonderful one. But life changes and it's not as easy as an adult to keep on with "the magic", most of the time is a "reality check" moment.
I miss so many loved ones, I wish I could hug them one more time.
My wish would be to go around with Santa Claus on his sleigh so I can visit friends and family around the world. But well, let's hope we can meet again in the future and keep in touch more often. Love to you all 💜
This year I got to at least make some sounds on that long flute, got a vanity kit and gave my secret Santa a lovely banana and I ate a lot 🍌😂

I never thought it would happen, but this was my fifth birthday in China, who would have said...
By now I've seen people coming and leaving, I have found great friends that have been with me in this adventure; I started and ended relationships that I thought would last longer or others that I never thought about.
I've met so many people from so many different places and I'll be forever grateful and they'll be with me in the adventures to come. At the same time, I miss all my loved ones back home and the ones that have left this place. I feel that my heart is in so many places and I wish that for my birthday gift I could go and hug you all, wherever you are in the world.
Thank you for this time and for your love, I love you all even if you couldn't be in the picture with new this year, until we meet again 💜
(and yes, that last picture is muy cake and it had beans which are very common here in desserts 😂)
(and I made my "famous lemon pie, cause it's always a pleasure to share it)

This is how the night ended.
These are the Chinese version of the midnight tacos. Let's go for some noodles at 4am 😂
The bunny was still partying while the sugar skull was enjoying having a place where to lean her head.

A few pics from today, when my friends told me we would go to pick strawberries and we went to a new town, had Chinese style barbacoa chicken, we had lovely eggplant, went to a riverside and played in a magic tent; but the only thing we didn’t do was picking strawberries 😂
At least we did have strawberries, even though they were from the supermarket in the city, I just keep laughing about it 🍓😂
I had to take a selfie of me waiting for the 🍓😅

Smiles that warm my heart...
We all know this year has been particularly difficult for everyone, but I'm really glad to have people on this side of the world to relay on. And I'm even happier to know that there's a lot of people in other parts of the world that even though we are apart they also warm my heart every day. I can't wait to hug you all again 🎄 💜
