BACK-TO-BACK CHAMPIONS! 🏆🔥

The Denver Onyx have done it again, taking down the Bay Breakers 24-17 at Infinity Park to capture the 2026 WER Legacy Cup! 🏉⚡️

An explosive 24-5 first half fueled by two tries from Player of the Match Aly Cunningham set the tone early. The Breakers launched a furious second-half rally, but Denver's defense held strong to close out WER’s second season as the league's first repeat champions! 👑

Huge congratulations as well to Bay Breakers' Mary Swanstrom on receiving the Kathy Flores Heart of a Champion Award! ❤️

LEGACY CUP CHAMPIONS
🏆 @wer_denver 🏆

To the players and the fans of the pink pony club:

Congratulations and thank you.

Everything that you put into this team mattered down to the very last second. Every drop of sweat, bruise, breath, cheer, sign, and even question of ‘will you sign this?’

It all mattered.
It was an honor to hold the photos of your legacy in my hands.
As a photographer my job is to document, as an artist my job is to tell the whole story.
From start to finish, before the gates open to after everyone has left, and everything in between. I hope to have made you all as proud as you have made me. Proud to be a fan of this incredible sport played by incredible humans.

I wanted to share a snippet of your cheers as it is the coolest thing to hear you all erupt as a player scores. So I asked Lin to record a voice memo during the match. Here’s to learning to embrace the noise.

This all wouldn’t be possible without you all.
Until next time.

With you always,
Becky!!!!
