Building the future of women’s rugby 🏉🌪️

Meet Kristin Zdanczewicz, head coach of the Chicago Tempest and a former U.S. National Team player and two-time Rugby World Cup competitor.

From building a professional pathway for women athletes to creating a culture centered on Community, Joy and Grit, Zdanczewicz is helping shape the next era of rugby in America.

With the 2033 Women’s Rugby World Cup on the horizon, the future is just getting started. 🇺🇸🏉

My first season with WER and Chicago Tempest. There were lots of ups and downs but equally as many smiles and jokes about Canadians.

I am overjoyed to have got to be a part of growing professional women’s sports in the US but hope that next time there is better inclusion of trans athletes. Everyone deserves the chance to play 🏳️‍⚧️💛.

Up next: Ligament repair surgery 🔜 👍🏼
