2019 could seen sorta bitchy, but I cannot complain. I had much more than a little help from my friends.

We had the most wonderful opening night on saturday! We want to thank all our friends and families that came out to support us, some of them even from out of town. Thanks to LACMA for the donations, @tequilaalacran for the mezcal to toast the night away, @lalalandmagazine for the beautiful feature, and of course @sparcinla and @judy_baca for opening your doors to us and for giving this beautiful project a home. It is amazing to witness the magic that can be done when a group of powerful, creative women get together.

The @womenssalonla ‘s #theboxproject was a total success! @mercedesgertz and @ruizfurlan brought an incredible group of women from three different countries together to show their creations. @judy_baca of @sparcinla gracefully opened her doors for these women, hosting a beautiful exhibition that has kicked off with a very successful opening night! The Box Project will continue to show at the Duron Gallery at SPARC until January 19 2020. Don’t miss the opportunity to see this collection!

We’d like to thank SPARC for the opportunity to show the dreams, thoughts, questions and views of all these women. Also @lalalandmagazine for featuring the works and artists profiles in the most beautiful way.
