I want to take a moment to honour my mother.
The woman who has always been there for me.
Who carried me, held me, loved me, supported me and, when needed, lovingly corrected me.

The woman who dedicated her life to creating space for mine, making sure I could take every opportunity that came my way.
Who stayed up when I came home late at night.
Who dried my tears in moments of pain and fear.
Who held my hand when I needed strength.

She witnessed all four of my children being born into this world, and within my becoming a mother, she made sure I could sometimes still remain a child.

She became the mother to me that she herself never had and helped shape the woman, the mother and the entrepreneur I am today.

We just returned from a mother–daughter trip to Morocco. Our first in 23 years.
I feel deeply grateful for the time, the stories, the laughter and the memories we created together.

To be honest, I don’t care much about International Women’s Day. It’s just another label on the calendar.
But I do care deeply about women; magnificent portals of creation, wombs of the world, carriers of ancient wisdom.

So today I dedicate this day to my mother.
The woman who gave me life,
and who kept walking beside me as I learned how to live it.

Thank you for being my roots
so I could grow my wings. ❤️

I also want to thank my brother-in-law @thijseigenwijs777 and my baby sister @noodlenadia for taking the lead and laying the foundation of our abandoned village and creating FreedomVille. For their tireless work and unwavering effort over the past three years, without pause, without giving up. I’m so proud of you. You are true pioneers and creators!

For the past couple of weeks I stayed at this wonderful place in Portugal: Freedom ville✨
It is the ultimate place to relax & re-connect with yourself surrounded by pure nature.🌿
