It’s been a looong wait to finally date this city. I fell in love with Paris back in school, reading Remarque, and I’ve been waiting for the right moment ever since. It finally happened, and just as I expected, I fell in love all over again. Can art change not only what we see, but how we see? Bringing together voices from theatre, visual art, neuroscience, and digital culture, we explored what happens to perception when we encounter art — and whether an artistic experience can actually alter the way we understand ourselves and the world around us. The conversation featured Maxim Didenko @vnuchek, Dr Dmitry Repin @improbablearts , Ulrich Schrauth @uschrauth, Dr Boris Magrini @borismagrini, Anika Meier @anika, and Catherine Bronsky @catherine_bronsky, moderated by Anna Bouali @bouali_anna. From the choreographic body to the neuroscience of perception, from contemporary art to digital environments, the discussion opened multiple perspectives on a question that remained deliberately unanswered: Can art change not only what we see, but how we see? Thank you to everyone who contributed their thoughts, questions, and attention to the conversation. 📸 @darinbelonogova

After the performance and the conversation, the evening shifted into another mode 🌚 🍸 Behind a flower shop on Torstraße, we gathered at @witch.garden.flowers — a hidden bar for an intimate late-night continuation of the evening with friends, artists, curators, and members of Berlin’s cultural scene. No stage. No programme. Just drinks, conversations, new encounters, and the lingering question of the evening: How does our perception change once the lights go down? Thank you to everyone who stayed with us until late and made this night what it was. Berlin, we’re already very looking forward to seeing you again ♥️ 📸 @darinbelonogova

What a night! Berlin, August 27 ✨ Before the lights went down and @doorsofperceptionlive and the talk began, we gathered at Monopol — artists, curators, thinkers, friends, and members of Berlin’s cultural scene — for an evening devoted to one simple yet expansive question: What happens when art changes the way we see? The evening was conceived as a journey through different states of perception: from anticipation, to immersion, to reflection, and finally, to connection. It was a pleasure to welcome our friends and colleagues into this space and share the beginning of this experience together. 📍 Monopol, Berlin August 27, 2026 More moments from the evening -> 🎠 📸 @darinbelonogova

This is the point in the year when “I should go see that” starts becoming a very long list. So before the calendar gets completely out of hand, our TEA Art Editor @werona narrowed it down to the “keepers” on your radar. Send it to your plus-one for the next art weekend… More in our Telegram. Link in bio.
