Epic Seattle trip with my son Wesley for his 16th birthday! We covered 20 miles on foot in 2 days and probably another 20 miles easy on our Lime bikes and scooters! Exploring the city and the waterfront kept us busy and constantly entertained. We took the ferry ride from pier 52 to Bainbridge Island for a break from the bustle, the ferry itself was a highlight and pretty awesome! Got right back to it with arcade games, gum wall, matching shirts, smoked salmon on a stick, cruising shops, clam chowder and crab, lots of laughs and room service in bed our last night! It really was a magical trip and great bonding time with my son. Couldn’t be happier and feel so lucky to get this special time with my boy! Happy Birthday Lil Wes!

I made this for Wes when he was 6. Today he’s 16, and I wouldn’t change a single word. * Caring * Patient * Funny * Strong * Smart * Kind * Athletic * Brave * Resilient * Loving Some things never change. ❤️Happy 16th Birthday sweet boy! You are the biggest blessing to us and an absolute joy to be around! The best part is that you are your Daddy’s best friend and you got his hustler mentality! Can’t wait to see what you do in this world!

Happy 16th Birthday to my son, Wesley! I can’t believe my little buddy isn’t so little anymore. Watching you grow into the ambitious, intelligent, hardworking, athletic, funny, and genuinely kind young man you are today has been one of the greatest joys of my life. I couldn’t be more proud of you. I cherish every moment we spend together—our workouts at the gym, lunches at our favorite spots (Origami and Miyagi), our daily conversations, buying and selling things together, playing pickleball, shooting hoops, catching a movie, or simply hanging out. Those moments mean more to me than you’ll ever know. You’re not only my son, but also one of my very best friends. It has been an incredible privilege watching you grow, and I’m excited to be by your side as you step into this next chapter of your life. I know you’re destined for amazing things, and I’ll always be here to support you every step of the way. In just a few days, we’ll be heading to Seattle to celebrate your 16th birthday together, and I can’t think of a better way to mark this milestone. Here’s to making unforgettable memories and painting the town red! I love you more than words can express. Happy Birthday, Wes. ❤️
