Some @nyphotography.hi shots from @haven.pgh first birthday. I am most grateful for the friendships I’ve made and strengthened along the way. Everyone who has helped this project has been willing to give their time to create something that they think the community deserves. The fact of the matter is that the economy is leaving live music behind. Independent music venues and touring are now pretty much a labor of love. Artists don’t have a choice. There is no off switch for being a human being, and all human beings are artists. Today, we have very cheap to access to entertainment. Not that long ago you could not doom scroll for hours, listen to every album ever, binge an entire TV show, or watch new movies at home. We all need to ask ourselves, “Is this really the kind of entertainment we want”?
