Breast cancer is a club that, unfortunately, far too many of us become a part of. 💗 One in eight women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.

Breast cancer doesn’t always present as a lump. It can also cause changes to the skin of the breast, including redness, thickening, dimpling, or a rash. Changes may also be noticed under the arm.

This year, breast cancer touched our own Dockside family, making this message especially personal to us. It’s a reminder that breast cancer can affect anyone, regardless of family history or age.

If something doesn’t feel right, don’t ignore it. Make an appointment to have it evaluated, and if you’re due for your routine mammogram, take this as your reminder to schedule it.

And to everyone who has been diagnosed with breast cancer, is currently going through treatment, or has supported someone they love through it: we see you, we’re thinking of you, and we’re here for you. 💕

Special thanks to our friends at @bayradiologymd where it feels like you have your own personal radiologist 💗

Some things you just can’t put a price on 🧡🎃

The neighborhood traditions, the little ones growing up together, the neighbors who show up, and the memories that become part of your family’s story.

THAT’S the magic of finding a place to call home ✨

Does your neighborhood go all out for Halloween, too? 👻

Drop a 🎃 in the comments if yours takes spooky season seriously!

Register to join us on Monday, October 12th at 7:30 PM for Cultivating Connection: Improving Parent-Child Communication Through Every Age and Stage.

This heart-centered, online class is designed to meet you exactly where you are. Led by Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Maria Winters of The Coaching Therapist, this space is built on empathy, grace, and practical wisdom.

Together, we will explore how to transition our communication styles as our children age, ensuring they always feel heard, valued, and safe, while you remain the steady, guiding anchor they so desperately need.
