WHO SAID RECOVERY HAS TO TASTE LIKE RECOVERY? 😂🏃🏾‍♂️

Emilio @observersareworried swears by his post-run recovery drink — made with kenkey, the Ghanaian staple he absolutely refuses to live without. 🇬🇭

Is it a recovery drink… or just another excuse to eat kenkey? 👀😂

@soundboyt the self acclaimed Kenkey ambassador! You have a competition here.

Either way, Emilio is serious about getting the body back ready for the next run.

Run. Recover. Refuel. Repeat.

What’s YOUR go-to recovery food?

@keepitmovin_podcast full episode out now on YouTube. Also coming to @choptyme in September.

If Afrobeat is global, why are UK promoters still stuck with bringing artist from Ghana to perform in church halls and not Solid EVENT SPACES! Why is there a lack of consistency in pushing this narrative!?

It’s evident there is a lack of understanding of the music business to SOME when we really deep it.

Hand in hand Solution:

Artists must educate themselves enough in the business in its entirety.
Artist must understand the business comes with INVESTIMENT that wouldn’t always necessarily amount to breaking even or making huge profit.
Partner with promoters who have great foresight and also care enough about your brand and what you’re trying to achieve.

Promoters must understand that change is necessary.
Being spearheaders come with bigger responsibilities than one could fathom.
Promoters play a HUGE role in education and management so far as the artists is on your soil.

Reputation is bigger than self gratification.
Are promoters willing to adapt and move accordingly? Are artists willing to truly INVEST in themselves to solidify their voices and brand?

Is this music business?
I have questions.

London was blessed — TWICE in a decade. 🇬🇧🇬🇭

The legendary Daddy Lumba gave us two unforgettable nights in London — shows that still stand as the biggest Ghanaian concerts ever held in the UK.

His final London show in 2024 was pure magic — and historic.

For the first and only time,
🔹 @samini_dagaati
🔹 @shattawalenima
🔹 @iam_kofinti
🔹 @amgmedikal
shared the stage with the GOAT himself — a moment etched in history.

These nights don’t come often.
Those who were there will remember forever. ❤️

🕊️ Rest in Perfect Peace, Charles Kwadwo Fosu — DADDY LUMBA.
Your music lives on.

Big love to @alordiapromotion & @westcoasuk for making it all happen. 🙌
