Some genuinely big news to share.

IGNITION, our Maisie Williams thriller, has been acquired by Saban Films for North America. Variety has the full story today.

We announced the Cannes territory sales back in the spring, with US distribution all still to play for.
Anyone who’s produced knows how hard, and how important, the US sale is. We’re naturally thrilled to get it done with such a great partner in Saban.

Getting a British independent film in front of North American audiences is rare in this market, so huge congratulations to everyone involved.

Huge credit to Maya Amsellem and the team at WestEnd, who’ve backed this from Cannes onwards - to James Erskine, to Maisie, and to my fellow producers on the film.

Myself, Ian Sharp and Sharp House will keep striving to make British films that work globally and this is a nice little nod to that vision.

Auroral Pictures is delighted to share the first look at UNCLE, following the completion of principal photography.

BAFTA-winning Malachi Kirby stars as John alongside newcomer Freya Harvey as Millie in Joe Marcantonio’s South Wales-set revenge thriller.

After quite a journey getting here, we’re incredibly proud of the film we’ve made and of the extraordinary cast and crew who helped us get it over the line.

UNCLE is written by Joe Marcantonio - @marcantoniotv - and Owynne Dawkins - @owynne , directed by Joe, and produced by Auroral Pictures’ Rebecca Knapp and Matthew Wakeham alongside Delta Pictures’ Adam Partridge.

Executive produced by Picnik Entertainment, Playhouse Studios, Principal Film Finance and FilmHedge.

International sales are being handled by WestEnd Films, with Sky Cinema releasing in the UK.
