Trash Panda Hill Smash is this Saturday! If you didnt know already, the proceeds of the race will 100% be going to charity. There are no profits retained by the race organizers; all will go toward helping a good cause. We are happy to announce the 3 charity options that racers can pick for their $10 entry to go toward. On your entry slip you can select either: @projecthopeorg (to aid Covid relief in India)
@lacbc (Bicycle infrastructure and advocacy in LA county)
@lalgbtcenter (LGBTQ+ resources, education and advocacy)
We wanted a mix of options so our racers find a charity they are aligned with. Even if you are not racing we encourage the Horde to support these wonderful organizations. If you have any questions feel free to DM. Thank you again to our sponsors for the wonderful prizes (to be revealed later this week) and helping make this event possible. And don't forget, the preview of the track will be tomorrow night! #bikegroup #roadbike #cycling #dtla #losangeles #bikes #fixie #fixedgear #mtb #roadcycling #peloton #cx #cyclocross

In exactly 1 week, we are hosting our very first race. We need to encourage more climbing in LA and what better way than with a 1 mile sprint up a hill. The Trash Panda Hill Smash will be next Saturday May 29th. Men and WTF categories for road and fixed. Prizes go to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place of each category. Entry is $10 and goes to charity. A big thank you to @mwmarras for making these dope podium medals for the winners. And of course a thank you to our sponsors for providing the prizes for the event. We'll be doing a track preview this Tuesday for those who want to practice on the real thing. Registration the day of the race will be at 7pm and the first race will be at 8pm. Go hit some hills in the meantime, Trash Pandas. #bikegroup #roadbike #cycling #dtla #losangeles #bikes #fixie #fixedgear #mtb #roadcycling #peloton #cx #cyclocross
