All Glory To God

Asbury University 31’

I am extremely excited and honored to announce that I have verbally committed to Asbury University, where I will continue my academic and athletic career.

First, I want to thank God for guiding me throughout this journey. Through every high and low, every challenge, and every moment of uncertainty, He has continued to lead me in the right direction. I know none of this would be possible without the Lord, and I’m beyond blessed.

I also want to thank every one of my family, friends, teammates, and coaches who have supported me throughout this journey. Thank you for believing in me, pushing me to become a better player and person, and standing by me through the good and difficult times. A special thank you to my mom for all the sacrifices she has made and for always supporting me.

Lastly, I want to thank Coach Smith, Coach Andrews, and Coach Welch at Asbury University for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to be part of this program. I’m excited for what’s ahead and can’t wait to get started!

Training Mindset and Mental Skills, for me, has been the most valuable and rewarding aspect of coaching, teaching and mentoring over the past three decades. That’s saying a lot because they have all been very rewarding, starting as a counselor at track and field and cross country camps way back as a college athlete.

The impact that this particular type of coaching has can be so big and powerful that it can change a persons future. How? It can change perspective, build hope and provide skills that enable someone to change the course of their life, do really hard things, push their boundaries and overcome adversity. And that change can start pretty quickly if the student is open minded, coachable and willing to have a little belief.

One of the coolest parts of all, is that some of the best students can turn right around and begin to be mentors and teachers themselves. Look at the crew up front here. In the past few years they’ve been through some serious adversity, but they listened, learned and practiced the tools, perspectives and strategies and they are becoming masters.

Very proud coach moment today, and so excited to help another young group begin their journey towards a Champion mindset!

A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who came out to support our #SHEISSURF Breast Cancer Awareness event today! 🩷⚽️

Today was about more than soccer. It was about coming together as a community, honoring the ones we love, raising awareness, and playing for a purpose.

Thanks to the incredible support, generosity, and love from our Surf family, we raised over $200 for breast cancer awareness! 🩷 Every shirt purchased, every donation made, and every person who showed up helped make this event so special.

A special thank you to everyone who helped plan, organize, and bring this event to life. It takes a village, and we are so grateful to be part of such an amazing community!

Together, we can make a difference, one kick at a time.

Thank you for showing up, showing love, and playing for a purpose!
