I always liked the minor blues scale and harmonic minor. After a lesson from Wes Thrailkill a year or two ago I was trying to think outside the box. I was playing G major and A minor blues. Then thought hey what if in A Dorian I add flat 5 and here we are. Its’s 8 notes instead of 7 but the harmony is dope. Of any scale I’ve played this feels like Dime, and really fits my style. Get ya some dude, or get creative and mix it up. Because It’s art, it’s self expression, and subjective to opinion of interest . Lessons really helped me, I recommend them for anyone on planet earth 🌍 “Cuz in music there’s no rules, but there’s rules”. - Wes Thrailkill . I thank god for his hangs and wisdom. Very helpful. I recommend him if your ever looking for a lesson. My thoughts to leave with is “You can only be better than who you were yesterday, and everyone is better than you at something. “✌️

Verse of the Day
Matthew 18; 12-14
“What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off? And if he finds it, truly I tell you, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off. In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should perish. ✝️🪽

This one has a number of elements that make it seem complex, but are relatively simple ideas. I'm so excited for everyone to hear it. Extra special thanks to @westkill for his amazing playing, and to @abentleymusic for his mixing prowess. Like and follow. Enjoy!

2025

A great year with a lot of great memories. Pictures can’t do it justice. Ready for more in 2026.

2025 has been absolutely MAGNANIMOUS in its releases across the board and I’ve had the distinct pleasure to be able to encapsulate even a tiny sliver of it! It’s also enabled me to explore and discover my eclectic tastes that have only developed over many years, only to come full frontal this year. Truly, it has been beyond impressive what’s been put out into the world this year!

So let me give my shoutouts to the artists this year who created those compact experiences that I’ve continually relived across the entire year!

1. Too Much and Never Enough by @laurenbabic
2. Catalyst by @archechoband
3. Slowly, Then All at Once by @westkill
4. EVA by @trotamundo.official
5. Burden by @vemod_official
6. Shatter & Bloom by @stellvris_band
7. Struck Dead by @triviumband
8. My Former Lover and the Longing for Home by @isaacholmesguitar
9. Live Trio Sessions by @maro.musica
10. When I Remember This Life by @nemuriomusic

See what I mean? ECLECTIC! I wouldn’t have it any other way, and naught but a substantial THANK YOU to all of you for creating - or in some cases, recreating - such epic, rampant, beautiful music - especially when AI is ever-proliferating and spreading, seemingly, to every corner of every industry! It’s people like YOU that keep the world real! 👌🏻✨💖

Thrailkill - Emptiness That Is You

My copy of Ableton that I acquired solely by legal means stopped working today for some reason. I’ve been wanting to cover this song for months however and the opportunity presented itself so phone audio it is. On the bright side I learned a little bit of EQing and made the audio as passable as I could. I think it turned out alright all things considered😻

@westkill @aliyarkinik @chaseonbass_ thank you for your music always🙏🏼
