Reflecting on my first full collegiate season, it was a grind — but I’m incredibly grateful to God that I went through it. Not only did I gain valuable experience to help uplift my team, but I also grew stronger both mentally and physically.

This season didn’t just fuel my hunger to improve on and off the field — it gave me a clearer view of the competitive landscape in Junior College Baseball. I faced numerous Division 1 bounce-backs and guys who may very well go on to play professionally. I went up against some of the top talent in California and held my own, putting up a lot of zeros against high-caliber teams — including Cerritos, who were ranked #2 in the state at the time.

I’m thankful to God, my family, and everyone who supported me through the highs and lows of this journey. I can confidently say I’ve come out of this season as a better athlete and a better person. #formyangels
