YES SIR THATS MY CHORUS!!! Fermata had an incredible exchange with the one and only @westminsterchorus and we had our socks knocked off. From tags to watching rehearsals and experiencing such a high level of music, our students had the experience of a life time. We can’t wait for more to come!!!

When I was in high school, back when Napster was how we all discovered new music, I stumbled across Az Yet singing “It’s Hard to Say I’m Sorry” (originally by Chicago). I remember thinking it was one of the coolest arrangements I’d ever heard.

Ever since then, I’ve wanted to hear that song done in a barbershop style.

Fast forward to when I was asked to arrange something for the Westminster Chorus for their international contest set, I finally got the chance. We paired it with another Chicago classic, “You’re the Inspiration,” and brought that idea to life.

Sometimes you meet extraordinary people. Last Wednesday, we got to know a chorus full of extraordinary people!! We’ve always felt a connection with the director, Dr. Dan Wessler, but now we feel that connection with the men of the Westminster Chorus as well. And as an added bonus, the amazing quartet The Newfangled Four!!! Thank you for coming to The Hague. You are a tremendous inspiration to us. It was an evening we won’t soon forget!!

We're so lucky 5x International Champs Westminster Chorus dropped by The Regentes in The Hague on Wednesday together with our national champs Mixed Nuts Chorus, because it meant we got to experience S tier barbershop in person! It was great to meet Alan Gordon and to see The Newfangled Four again!

As Chairman, a big shout-out to our Rudy, who then got to follow up that experience with 3 whole days of BinG! Barbershop in Germany e.V. We're proud, and jealous, that he got to see even more amazing quartets and Choruses at the World Mixed Championship stage / the German National convention.
