We are so grateful and proud of another fun filled Sunday morning with our Comets! 💫💙💛⚽️

Wonderful session report from Manager Natalie: "Our players started the session as police officers, collecting the naughty balls and putting them in the ball jail.

We then had a circle of flames 🔥 where the kids had to throw the balls from behind the cones into the pound, where one of our coaches would catch the ball and pass it back to the kids.

We ended the session with big ice cream cones, with balls for ice cream. Catching and throwing the ball. It was lots of fun and lots of laughs from everyone.

📲 If you have a child aged 5-11 years old, who would benefit from a pan disability team. Training with other kids who may be suffering from anxiety or have developmental delays or may be neurodivergent, then please drop us a line. 💛💙 "

Another brilliant week at Garforth Villa 💛💙

A lot of our teams played cup games, some getting fantastic wins, and some getting real lessons. What matters the most is growing stronger, playing as one, and pushing further every time.

It was lovely to see the fundraiser night and the team without a match who stepped up cleaning, organising and getting the Barwick clubhouse ready for everyone. Heartfelt thanks to you all.

We saw experienced players sharing knowledge 🥅 and we appreciate the dedication, kindness, and so much heart from all our coaches and parents.[EP]

Thank you 💛💙

Congratulations to our Women Peacocks Team on kicking off their season with a hard-fought, fully deserved win against Horsforth St Margaret’s! 💛💙🦚

Match report from coaches Jenny and Shelly:
"After a league mix-up delayed their season opener, we finally got the campaign underway with a hard-fought victory at West Riding County FA Headquarters. We started brightly, with Becky F, Andrea, and debutant Catherine, causing plenty of problems in attack, but it was Horsforth who took the lead with a strike from distance. Goalkeeper Anna kept us in the game with a fantastic display of saves, before Annie found the net just before half-time to level the score. The second half was a physical battle, but our relentless pressure paid off when Becky F was brought down in the box. Annie stepped up confidently to convert the penalty and grab her second goal of the match. Horsforth pushed for an equaliser in the closing stages, but we showed real determination, grit, and teamwork to see out a deserved 2-1 win and kick off our season in style!"

We are very proud of you and wishing you all the best for the rest of the season. 💛💙⚽️

🚨 GRASSROOTS CASE FILES: INVESTIGATIONS OPEN 🔎⚽

Some of football's greatest mysteries remain unsolved...

We've examined the evidence, questioned the suspects and reviewed the footage. Unfortunately, we're no closer to finding the answers👀

All jokes aside, there's one thing that doesn't need investigating: respect makes a better game for everyone.

Keep the passion, lose the drama🤝

⚽ Greater Respect. Better Football.
