Life is a dream & I keep living mine. I’ll perform in LA Nov 1 in gratitude of life, of dance & of the arts. Dance has taken so much of my life & time. But it has given me the ability to stop time. It has delivered me my life over & over again. This piece is a collaboration between me & my mentor Hama (inspired also by his mentor Luigi) whose work & steps have taught me how to dance but more importantly, how to live. It’s an honor to carry forth his dance legacy with my own students who practice dancing steps & choreography passed down with joy & kindness & grace. Let’s please have grace for ourselves & for the world. Open hands. Open heart. That is the way. THANK YOU DANCE! ⏳🕊️🤍

Thank you @movementsofgratitude

Me…Far Right…Back in the 1900s…1996. I love old dance videos. I danced the same but I’m a lil better now. ;) I was a teen dancing professionally in 3 Jazz companies at once. All different styles. On scholarship, assisting Chris Baltes. Driving to LA to train with Hama & Claude Thompson & @jackiesleight & audition, navigating with my trusty Thomas Guide like a wild lil pirate. God I love this choreo…clean, big, musical, joyful! Thanks for the sweet memory Michael. 🎶📼❤️
