Shoutout to the wonderful people at @westtradereview for giving my poem, “The New Thursday,” a home. The piece is inspired by the exhaustion many, including some of my immediate family, are experiencing while looking for jobs during the pandemic... not to mention the anxiety and fear of playing the waiting game. It’s a sad jam, but hey! Thats how it goes!
