POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

We’re back at @myaeonevents this Saturday for round two of GROUP THERAPY, the MVMNT event where we encourage everyone to work through their issues by standing in a dark room filled with strangers, making questionable financial decisions at the bar and allowing a suspiciously loud kick drum to do the heavy lifting on their emotional wellbeing.

Two floors, covering a range of sounds to make you feel better and absolutely no qualified professionals on site….. alright maybe a bartender or two 😉😝

We’re running minimal and tech house downstairs before things start getting a little more therapeutic upstairs with techno and hard dance forcing you to let it all out through dancing.
The usual MVMNT production will be in full swing, drink specials will be flowing and we’ve got a possible SECRET SET lined up that we’re keeping to ourselves for now because a good fake therapist should be at least capable of keeping a secret 😂

Whether you’re coming to find yourself, lose yourself, avoid your responsibilities for a few hours or simply have a good boogie, we’ve probably got something for you…… and if none of that works, at least you’ll have a story to tell your actual therapist on Monday.

This one’s coming around QUICK and tickets are movining so make sure to jump on them ASAP.

If you’ve been meaning to come to a MVMNT event, now’s a pretty good time to stop saying you’ll come to the next one and actually come to the next one, it’ll be good for your mental health 😉

🎫 TICKETS ARE LIVE — https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/2003053645374?aff=oddtdtcreator

Attendance is encouraged. Emotional breakthroughs are optional and bad dancing is practically mandatory soooo……

I’ll catch you all on the dance floor Saturday 🖤

TONIGHT!!! (25/09)

At some point, someone decided that going out until 3am, standing in a room full of strangers and making decisions you’ll possibly regret later was a form of self-care….. We aren’t here to challenge that theory.

Group Therapy is a new MVMNT night built around two floors of dance music, each with its own pace, character and particular way of making time disappear.

Downstairs goes for a journey through Tech House and Techno the kind of music that convinces you to throw your anger away through your hips and find someone to dance with before finding your spot in smokers to talk your life stories out 🙊

Upstairs moves a little differently.
Hard groove, bounce and techno, picking up the pace as the night unfolds and gradually testing the distinction between dancing and cardio because remember you told your Mum therapy was good for you 😉

Two rooms, carefully selected artists, a considered flow and the MVMNT approach to sound, atmosphere and production without needing to overcomplicate something that already works.

There will breakthroughs.
And definitely some sick breakdowns
Probably little to no closure but there will be good music, questionable life choices and a room full of people who, for a few hours at least, have agreed that this is exactly where they’re supposed to be.

Welcome to Group Therapy.
Presented by MVMNT Entertainment.
