2020/2021 ♥️
Not a lot of art making, but lots of life livin & documenting the adventures with the wonderful people around me. These years brought a lot more peace, love, and adventure.

I got into editing photos & I painted a mural in Vancouver with Ian.

The pandemic hit, lost my jobs, school went online, I went through a big breakup & dropped charges in my trial on the same day, moved to Whistler with Zoey, dropped out of university, experienced the highest highs & lowest lows, we were homeless for a bit, made some incredible friends, I was assaulted again (even tho I thought that couldn’t happen again?!!!), my grandpa and Koda died in the same week, we lived off of pilsner and peaked pies, I met James!!!! Fell in love!!!!! (see our first photo together & a little video I made the day we biked to vic to view the place we currently live), and moved to Victoria!

We moved to this cute lil city with nothing more than a small U-Haul of our stuff and barely enough cash for our first month of rent. Our goal with moving here was to plant roots, create a warm safe home, and to grow together. We went to cafes to use the internet and apply to jobs. Luckily we both landed jobs where we made great friends. I’m grateful for this safe, loving home with this sweet loving boy, and all of the beautiful wonderful people we get to call our friends. ♥️

Thankful to get together with great minds, and share ideas, support each other and the artistic practises that are vital for our world at this moment. Olympic village rec. Center functioned as an amazing meeting room. Next time we might get a ping pong table.
