Last batch of mountainous sunsets with Wez & Blu 🌋 @wezzstander

This spot is a top favourite as it has so many landscapes, backdrops, lighting angles and you go from a forest area with Hout bay in the background to views of the coast and Llandudno - and at sunset this is killer 🔥

Thank youuuu to the shmodels 🐕🦸🏻‍♂️

Last seconds of the sun through the trees with Wez & Blu | Part 1 🌲 @wezzstander

This is my first shoot done under the name Terrasili and we just about managed to get the remaining rays from day. It’s a bit of a darker setting than planned but my two awesome models did great 🔥

Terrasili means capturing the unspoken, unposed visual language and magic shared between humans, animals and nature 🍂

Walking on the edge of sunsets with Blu & Wez | Part 1
@wezzstander

This was my first shoot I did with the theme that sits within Terrasili ✨ grateful I got to experience it with Wez and Blu, especially knowing the insane story behind their connection and how they ended up together

Blu is a special pup that has gone through some awful situations before finding Wez, and the safe loving home he is now in

Life isn’t always fair to the kind hearted, and Blu never ever deserved the treatment and lack of responsibility he was given in his life earlier but the seeds of hope, fate and love pushed its way through ✨

Blu now goes on adventures twice a day, gets fed proper meals, vet check ups, gets groomed, a warm place to sleep, lots of exercising and even more love

All animals we’ve chosen to domesticate deserve this 🥀

No itinerary. No destination. Just good homies, cold water and a couple of dogs who clearly think they’re part of the crew. 🐕🌊🤙

There’s something beautifully simple about days like this.

The sun is out.
The ocean is alive.
The mountains are watching.
And for a few hours, nothing else really matters.

Maybe that’s the whole point.

Find your people.
Find your waves.
Find the places that make you forget to check the time.

And when you do…

Stay there a little longer. 🌊☀️🐾

Beaverlac 🤍 you are everything ✨

Looking for a getaway? Just drop everything you’re doing right now and start packing that car.

Doesn’t matter if it’s Tuesday, or even a Monday. Doesn’t matter about work. About your wife or husband, or partner. Doesn’t matter about your kids in school.

Just for the love of God and all things right in this world, start packing up your car, tape your families mouths, tie their hands if they argue. Throw them in there, grab your dogs (they have to come with you), don’t forget your wood for the braai and get the fuck out and head directly to Beaverlac, and don’t look back.

No matter what you do, do not look back.

🏕️

Thank you for such an epic valentines getaway 🤍🤍🤍 @wezzstander

Why on earth would anyone want to hike in Cape Town?

🙃🙃

For those who don’t know and plan to ask - this is Bainskloof. You park on the side of the road and head down the vertical front to get to the bottom valley and keep left along the river to get to the various pools and waterfalls. (There are pathways)

It’s not a long or a hard hike - some may not even call it a hike - but, keep going up to get to the final waterfall which is at the end.

Disclaimer: everyone who visits, does so at their own risk 🏆

Blessed to live here, blessed to see this everyday and thank you Cape Town for continuously sharing little pieces of heaven 🤍

DO NOT LEAVE YOUR RUBBISH

thanks ✨

We went to @diemersfonteinwine afterwards 🍷
