What an incredible, fun night!

Fantastic performances for a brilliant TV pilot script, BONDS, by Tanisha Mathis.

I’m so grateful for everyone who participated in this event, and for Kira VandenBrande, Dustin Fleischmann, and @wgfoundation for giving us space, support, and dinner!

Allen Sowelle and Wendy West for mentoring veterans year after year, after year: Thank you!

Also, thank you, Shaan Sharma and Nova Reyer, for helping me cast/organize, Michelle Persoff and Roxane de Palma for your support and creativity, Hermie Castillo for always showing up to help and making us laugh, and Brian McLaughlin for a truly unforgettable hosting experience!

BONDS - what a story!!! 🙌🏻

Like everyone, I’ve had a heavy heart these days. The joy of this community, of my writer and reader friends, is one of the bright spots. You are keepers of the light, of art, humanity and happiness—no small feat. 🩷

…

🌈 This is how the #SouthInternationalSeriesFestival image will look like! We celebrate that we have #Okuda for the second year in a row to design it.

Television doesn't stand still, it reinvents itself. A range of masks 🎭 as a reference to the protagonist city, accompanied by Okuda's patterns, transforms the chromatic circles of the setting cards into futuristic indigenous masks in constant mutation. It thus embodies the continuous evolution of the series and the multiplicity of looks that make up the audiovisual universe.

📺 We can already start our way to #Cádiz! See you from 12 to 17 September, with by the best #series.

What I feared would be a painful goodbye turned into a joyful hello today.

This morning I made a gift of my husband’s collection of bound scripts from “Your Show of Shows” to the Writer’s Guild Foundation.

My Billy was the show’s romantic tenor in the 1950s, before his Broadway debut. He purchased the bound volumes from the heirs of Max Liebman, the iconic variety show’s producer.

The foundation’s spacious library in Hollywood is open to the public where you may see, read, and enjoy scripts from America’s greatest films and TV shows.

Hilary Swett, the archivist there, is charming, helpful, and enthusiastic.

So, I gave my darling’s treasured memories to a place where creative achievement in writing for entertainment is preserved and honored forever.

I believe Billy is as happy as I am now ❤️

The writers guild foundation, visit sometime. Say I sent you.

Got to show off the @usnavy to a group of Hollywood professionals who mentor veterans in the @wgfoundation Veterans Writing Project and Veterans Writing Fellowship. They generously bring us into their world, but this trip let them see into ours. Needless to say they are more pumped than ever to be working with vets. Also the @ussmichaelmonsoor is an incredible ship and the best part was the amazing crew that took care of us and made us feel so completely welcome. Thank you @surface_warriors for@the incredible opportunity.
