Let’s do a little Attention Span Health Check. Do you need a 15-30 second video with catchy text on the screen? Or can you sit through a full song, experience the momentum build from the beginning and earn the crescendo ending?
✍🏼🎶
If you make it to the end by going through each video fully, comment below what the band does right after the song is over. If you skip to the last video, comment “BOLD” below, because you’re courageous enough to tell the truth. Be honest, no judgment here. Things are difficult enough these days. This is more of a litmus test for how I’ll make posts in the future. Let’s see how everyone’s mental fortitude is doing and adjust accordingly.

bean bags, Boojum, stage slips, wigs, high kicks, horn sections, WHAT? a weekend!!

Boojum + What? on Thursday. Hollow Valley Sessions on Friday.

open mics, new faces, familiar faces, a lot of music, a lot of moving parts, and somehow every corner of the building getting used.

there’s something really special about watching this place fill up with other people’s ideas. every show leaves a little something behind and makes The Ellis feel a little more like itself.

still figuring out what this place can be.

more and more ❤️
