SAHARA NOIR Tom Ford (2013) 🎶 Labdanum, Cypress, Bitter Orange & Calamus Incense, Beeswax, Cinnamon, Papyrus, Rose & jasmine Egyptian balsam, Amber, Labdanum, Benzoin, Oud, Cedar & Vanilla Long time no see but it was about time to try this one again. And what lovely incense! Was laughing reading reviews like this one had no incense or just a little of it… In my nose this is like 80% incense…😆 A bit peppery which could be the cinnamon and maybe a tiny bit warmed by beeswax but above all mostly a dry and strong incense for hours. Unisex if not masculine leaning if you care about that. FRANGIPANI Ormonde Jayne (2003) The opening here is delicious… 🌼 🍋‍🟩 I really love linden blossom and together with bergamot I almost want to drink it… This is not a soliflore frangipani perfume, instead we get a nice bouquet of florals with a fruity touch and maybe even a bit tropical. It’s sweet but not cloying. If I may give 2025 a name, it would be “Tuberose Year“ I experienced many tuberose juices from different houses. Today’s fragrance is a magnificent manifestation of an elegant tuberose, nothing is done excessively. The creamy texture is really beautiful. @fueguia1833 has never let me down. Jasmine, vanilla, tuberose ,sandalwood ,Ambrette ; each single note is a piece of art ✨ I am in 🤍🤍🤍🤍

I recently received this fragrance; 💛Free Coco 💛 as a gift from @borntostandout.official and it turned out to be beautiful surprise 🤩 The first sprays delivered a nutty creamy lactonic scent that feels comforting and elegant . As it settles , the various types of vanilla add subtle richness that gives the scent a unique touch. The combination of the coconut together with the macadamia and pear elevated the vanilla base to another level 💛💛💛 Well done @borntostandout.official A non conventional tropical, nutty, creamy, lactonic juice that reminds me of a brilliant ice cream shop in Ko Samui Thailand 🌴🍹🌴🥥 who specializes in fresh coconut ice cream. What I love most is the balance—it’s sweet but never overwhelming .It has that cozy, addictive quality that makes you want to keep catching whiffs of it throughout the day. To me, it feels like the kind of fragrance that leaves a memorable trail without being too heavy.

1979 NEW WAVE Les Bains Guerbois Spearmint, Peppermint & Aldehydes Orris & Cedar Sandalwood, Musk & Amberwood This is a perfect fresh perfume with orris! Opens with sweet mint boostered by aldehydes but you can smell some of the dusty orris too already from start. There’s no makeup vibe here just clean and bright freshness without citruses or aquatic notes. Really a good choice when wanting something clean and uplifting with a soft woody and musky drydown. Created by Dominique Ropion and pays homage to Bains-Douches a club in the end of the 70’ with characterized by New Wave experimental music. @lesbainsguerbois @dominiqueropionparfumeur

#fragfamwednesday Well yes it's blooming Wednesday, grim and cold and snow apparently on the way... Yay 🙄. So yes it's the day just to draw some attention to the great folks with under 1000 followers. If you like them, then go check them out. So first up this week is the fab @myfragrancejourney1 with a great page and fab mix of fragrance. As well as some brilliant reviews. It's then @what.scent.kw who has some great taste and perfumes there to check out. With some amazing pictures. We then have @the_atomizer_snob who has a fab page with some great content. There are some great scents to check out there too. Finally we have @smelllikeagoddess with another excellent page filled with great posts and some amazing fragrances there. This week's YouTube is the great @scentsiblings was back with a really fun great video. It's always great to catch up and have a chat with Julija in her videos. PRADA TENDRE Prada (2006) Totally different from the regular Prada. Here we get citruses in the top then a heart of tea, vetiver, cardamom and some jasmine for a floral vibe. More of a daytime vibe and ”clean” enough for office wear or when you just want to smell good without too much of everything.
