This weekend has been exactly what I needed slow mornings, good friends, lots of laughs, and soaking up every little bit of summer. Even if it’s hot as HELL here…like, melting on the way to the car hot. 🫠

I read a lot, laughed a lot, and I’m really just leaning into not being miserable lately lol. Turns out that romanticizing the little things is kind of working.

Keeping it short and sweet today because Sundays are for the swoons. These creators and their posts absolutely had me kicking my feet this week, so go show them some love and give them a follow if you aren’t already!

This was such a lovely ending to the series! I really enjoyed it. I always strive to make my reviews as spoiler free as possible, and it was really hard with this one, but I think I managed it without giving all the goof stuff away! I had a lot more to say but felt like anything else would give things away.

🩵🌸CELEBRATING JANE AUSTEN🌸🩵
2025 is the 250th anniversary of Jane Austen's birth. Her novels are one of the reasons I have a love of reading, and my absolute favourite is Pride and Prejudice 🩵

I love the book adaptations and the movies (nothing tops the BBC version of Pride and Prejudice, though!). I have an Austen pop vinyl, a colouring book, a jigsaw, and a few tote bags... and I have two P&P inspired tattoos 🩵🌸

This gorgeous copy is a gift from one of my besties @bembles73 purchased, on her travels, from Shakespeare and Company in Paris! Feeling very spoiled (she also got me a few other wee treats, including a special edition Elton John jar of marmite! Who knew that was even a thing??)

I do plan on rereading an Austen novel soon - perhaps Northanger Abbey - as it's the one I remember the least. 🩵 let me know if you fancy joining me!

June is pride month, and although I believe we should be celebrating love all year round I will always cheer even louder in June.

This bookstagram will always be a safe space for everyone. I will always advocate for equality and love. 🥰

I read queer all year, but this month I specifically prioritized queer fiction on my tbr. I’m proud to say that of the 15 books I’ve read so far this month 9 of them have had queer characters or were written by queer authors. 🏳️‍🌈

Sydney was such a fun time with the gang and BABE was such a cool experience!
