From childhood sweethearts to Mr. + Mrs. 🖤

It was such an honor to witness this precious couple’s pure love for one another. This day, from start to finish, was the absolute sweetest and oh so incredibly beautiful! One year later, these memories captured by the one and only @framedbydaniel_ take us right back to that September day. We love the Whatleys + we wish you the happiest first anniversary!

Hi! I wanted to reach out on behalf of @gnarcyteam . We've got some totally cool jewelry lined up, and I reckon you'd be the ideal candidate to rock our latest collection of masculine accessories!

If you're up for it, we'd love to hook you up with a trio of pieces on the house! Yup, you read that right – totally FREE!

Just shoot a DM over to our main account @gnarcyteam (if you dont see a DM button, just reply to any of their stories), and our guy Shawn will sort you out pronto! But hey, don't sleep on it – spots are filling up fast, and we'd hate for you to miss out on the action! Cheers, mate! 🤙

| Leah + Caleb |

We have never seen two people more in love + in awe of one another. These high school sweethearts had been planning + praying for this day for as long as they could remember. And the result was magical. From the tiniest floral details in Leah’s veil to the moonlit private vows, this whimsical September wedding took our breath away.

We love the Whatleys!

📷: And we LOVE @dancpdavis!

This is still one of my favorite moments I’ve ever captured..and it happened by accident.

As a photographer, I come into every wedding with a carefully curated timeless but sometimes things don’t always go to plan. The original plan was to have Caleb and Leah exchange their private vows during their first look before the ceremony but that didn’t happen. While guest were grabbing cake and enjoying themselves, I grabbed their vow books and pulled C&L to share this special moonlit moment.

I believe moments like these are sacred and I wanted the Whatleys to slow down and take in the words they were expressing to each other. It’s moments like these that make wedding days that more memorable!

Details! Details! With every wedding I capture I’m very intentional about carving out time to capture the details of the day. This is typically the first thing I put on my timeline. To guest these details may not mean much but sometimes specific florals are picked before of a sentimental reason, or a veil or cuff links that’s a family heirloom and now on its 3rd generation. Sure these are the things that make wedding pretty but these “pretty things” may carry more meaning then you think. The details really so matter!

PS you can bet your bank account that I will get at least one shot with a shadow cast on it lol

Details from the Whatley wedding!

“He has been waiting for this day since high school”. Words spoken by Leah as she looked at Caleb’s smile after their first look! You can ask anyone in the room and they will affirm how evident Caleb’s adoration for his bride is.
Their souls are just as beautiful as the beautiful wedding their friends and family witnessed on 9/22. Simply stunning!!

Old money meets new money! One thing that energizes me is hearing a clients vision and bringing it to life. Maybe an unpopular opinion but I actually enjoy the planning phase and planning this engagement session with Leah and Caleb was everything!! On top of that, they are the sweetest couple which made this whole experience that much better!
