My toxic trait is that I basically have to rework projects a million times before I decide im finally happy with it and that’s usually a 6 month process and comes way after the project is over. IF ONLY MY BRAIN WOULD SIMPLIFY GODDAM but lol adhd lol x So yh this is one from the @gretaisaac “DOLLY ZOOM” archives as featured in @readdork . Made this summer just gone in my nanas house in ealing. Such a good bloody house that, it is so special to me. Me & Gret were actually friggin so burnt out by this point and on a shoe string budget, tryna pull a whole bloody extravaganza out of our arses with mostly just the two of us. Classic music industry biz. Gret did all the call ins and shout out to all you stylists cos that is such a feat. Nana made us sandwiches and coffee and also inappropriate comments the whole time. We made up personas for each look, giving them a story line. Can’t remember what we prescribed this one but I think it’s the most Gret / Dolly Zoom in the end. I’m chatting all this breeze now as a reminder to myself that in the end all of us are just big kids with silly little ideas that are actually quite hard and therefore important to do. And they’re worth doing. In this case not just for our sisterhood but because after 6 years of working together and tryna figure ourselves out, this project is the best we’ve made. It’s kinda cute kinda hawt kinda scary and v on brand for this project.
