Introducing LOFM’s Director of Photography and Editor: Tracy Kiryango 🙌🏾

@karmicdelight and @saramasry have worked on several projects together, with LOFM being their fourth since first meeting on a job in 2024. Tracy’s ability to adeptly translate Sara’s vision into smooth shots and seamless visual storytelling makes this collaboration a no-brainer time and again 🎥

Tracy is an award-winning Director of Photography based in London. Her short documentary ‘Buddleia The Unchained Story,’ won the ‘Best Documentary’ award at the BAFTA accredited British Urban Film Festival 2022. She started her career in video journalism and fell in love with the art of visual storytelling. Tracy has spent over 10 years cultivating a naturalistic and nostalgic approach to her imagery. She always aims to serve the protagonists in her films, rather than overshadowing them with elaborate camera movements.

Never been one for insta, so now I have 5+ years worth of memories to fit into one post...

Even if you've not seen me perform, most of you will know I'm pretty into improv comedy

"Serious" scripted acting can sometimes get me in my head... but give me the chance to play a stupid character and say whatever lines come to mind, then even if it's a bit crap (and it's often a bit crap), then I'm happy!

And for a niche interest, turns out there's absolutely loads of it! Once you're part of this weird community, it's hard to imagine life without it :)

A big shout out to @ddgimprov and all the other fun performance spaces for allowing me to meet some amazing people, fail on stage, then come back buzzing to do it again next week!

And of course to the awesome teams I've been lucky enough to be a part of- @wearenottherapy @rosebudthornimprov @bigquestionsimprov and a big old throwback to the end of 'covid times' with @thesaskyloom ❤️
You've helped make this happy/messy journey a complete joy so far... let's see where else I can take it 😀

I have a disease where I am physically incapable of posting anything in a timely manner! But I did the Soho Theatre Stand Up Labs back in March and it was a blast. Couldn’t have had a teacher more generous with her attention, time, and expertise than @esthermanito and couldn’t have asked for a lovelier cohort xoxo
