Ten years ago I was telling people I was going to be a professional rugby player while I was working in McDonald’s.

I had nobody to look up to. No Irish lad who’d done it. My inspiration was bodybuilders on YouTube, because that was the only thing I could find.

Eat clean. Train hard. Be a good person.

That was enough to get me here.

So now I document the whole thing. The good weeks and the ones where there’s no end in sight, because five months ago that’s exactly where I was.

If one young fella watches this and decides to keep going, it’s done its job.

@james_tamou_ watched Johnathan Thurston kick these every morning for years.

Last one out of the building, every single day.

So when it went up, James had already turned to the crowd
with his hands in the air.

Then it hit the post.

The 2015 Grand Final from the man who was stood right there 🎙️

The smell of delicious coffee, great conversations and creative energy filling the studio from the moment the doors opened.

A huge thank you to the amazing @sippin.goose for kicking off the day with cold brew and matcha.

Then to top it all off, we had @ronanmichael in the studio recording the @whatsthemessagepod podcast alongside two incredible guests. Watching stories unfold, ideas spark and meaningful conversations come to life is exactly why this space exists.

More than a studio. It’s a place where people connect, create and inspire.

Days like this just hit differently.
