Happy National Personal Chef Day! We’re celebrating the talented chefs at The Heirloom Chef. They deserve all the recognition, so here are a few words of appreciation from Chef Erika.

Chef Gita: Beauty maker. A wise old soul in a young person. Having grown up on an island, she brings extensive experience with seafood, along with so much fascinating knowledge. She also creates a beautiful cheeseboard.

Chef MD: A burst of creative, fun energy. Her food is layered, textured, and every bit as impressive as her personality. You never know what hair color she’ll have! Not many people can boast that they’re an excellent chef and baker, but MD does it all.

Chef Gio: Both technical and fun, the head of his class, and his classmates and teachers still talk about him at the CIA. He has a warm, shining personality and epic cooking skills to match.

Chef Amey: Amazing experience. She’s worked with celebrities and in kitchens most of us could only dream of. Serious humor and delicious flavors. Growing up in Northern California means fresh and local is all she knows.

Chef Paula: Incredible precision and attention to detail. She brings epic flavor profiles and experience in restaurants and catering. She’s the team member that never hesitates to step up and take on big challenges.

Chef Toni: A relationship builder. Once clients have her as their chef, they stick with her. She also has a remarkable ability to work with our high-needs clients and highly specialized diets. She brings attention to detail and a loving presence.

Chef Gary: A hearty welcome to the newest member of our team! Humble, excited to grow, and a kind soul with an open mind and heart.

Chef Mara: A true team player, down for anything, and always ready to support those around her. A natural creator who’s been cooking her whole life.

Chef Anna: The OG of THC. She dances across the kitchen with magic and precision. She has the biggest heart in the kitchen and cares for others by cooking with her whole heart.

Chef Nichole: Beekeeper, epic mother, and teammate. Always up for anything and able to cook her butt off with unique global flavors. She’s experienced in special diets and cooking for lar

9/23/2025 - Braves vs. Nationals ⚾️🏃🏾‍♂️💨

This was my first time ever going to a professional baseball game! It was pretty fun, and honestly we didn’t even need to buy tickets to enjoy the game if we didn’t want to, but I love new experiences anyway so why not 🤷🏾‍♀️ I felt so lucky capturing a home run on this camera too like what are the odds?? 🤣 but gotta love spontaneous nights out with friends!

♉️ May 2025 - July 2025 ♋️ PART 2

1. & 2. Remember how I said there’s a few blurries? 💀 I think Devon took these! This was when we were playing games before going to the movies!
3. After Sinners! 🎬 This is hilarious to me bc I remember struggling taking this picture. The “AMC” is centered, but I didn’t bother trying to get everyone to stand under it 💀 it was a lot going on.
4. Tati on the boat 🛥️ in GA before we all traveled 15/20min to get to SC 😏
5. A 🍄 Day with Tyler! It’s funny, this day was very much centered around art, film, and photography (especially for me)! We watched a lot of shows & documentaries | I brought all my cameras so we can take pics on them, and then I ended my day modeling for an architecture company where the photographer took the coolest pic I’ve ever seen of myself. #shouldipostit🤔
6. - 8. Trav’s graduation party!! 🥳 I met so many cool ass people like EVERYONE was just so cool, fun, and talented asf! 😭 But one of the pics I was excited about was ruined here! It was gonna be the cutest pic of Tam & Trav but I’m so glad I took two pics of them bc they still look absolutely adorable here!! 🥹
9. Another image that got ruined 😭 you can’t even see that Jarrod was in this pic, and this was from when we went to Beat the Bomb to celebrate HIS Birthday! 💔
10. & 11. This was actually a very long day 💀. Brea was in the A for Memorial Day weekend and she invited me to a pool party, but I had already bought tix for the Beat the Bomb activity for Jarrod, so I couldn’t stay there very long. Then we went to The Works to eat together, and after that I went to party to Audio Vixen’s DJ set (it’s Zah 🤭) ! And finally, we ended the night here with Brea & friends at the club 🤣💃 #veryfunday
12. & 13. At home Hibachi Day for Father’s Day! Like I said in a previous post… it was HAWT AS HELL out there! These summer days have been very miserable due to the heat 😭
14. - 16. The Taco Bar Potluck Luncheon at Kai’s. It was hot as hell this day too! My hair looks a damn mess from the sweat accumulated 💀

November 13, 2014 - Orion Sun Concert ☀️

I have a lot of pics I gotta drop, but I’m starting it off with the Orion Sun concert! It was such a beautiful & down to earth concert. Orion’s family was there, she sung to her grandma and mom, and she continuously took moments to perform in the audience! <3

Fun Fact: The song attached to this is one of my favorites by her! She started to sing it, but someone fainted and she sought help for them and she never returned to singing this song. I was like damn 😔 Still a great time tho!!

Vinny is my nickname and is also now the name of my bakery: @vinnys_mutualaidbakery

For the last 6 months I’ve been running cannoli pop ups out of my home to fundraise for Care for Gaza. Next Sunday will be my first pop up in public @liminalspaceatl with some other rad bakers. And really excited for the holiday menu I’ve put together. Cannoli will always be on the menu. I’ll also have maritozzo and focaccia.

A much longer retrospective is coming next weekend about the last six months why I started making cannoli and how I go to this point. But need to shoutout a few people:

My friend @davisthelion made the cannoli plant illustration for me. I sent him a mood board, vision for my bakery and some ideas and he ran with it. His illustration reflects a lot of what I aim to provide people with my baked goods: a bit of whimsy, simplicity and always an appreciation for produce. Nick is fierce and creative hobbyist and has been a long vocal advocate for a Free Palestine.

@hardshapes I’ve got to watch from afar and benefit from the creativity and artistry from Laree for a long time. She has been an inspiration for me for my pop ups and art in all things.

@atheartpanaderia the people of Atlanta stay blessed by having Teresa and her bakery within reach. The care, intention, artistry and heart put into her business has been a model for me as I started my own pop up bakery.

@rmpannell for using his perspective and skill set with his camera to showcase the work from each pop up - and todays session with focaccia and Maritozzo.

@joshbradford for entertaining my wild idea of running a bakery out of our home and being there to help with every pop up.
