Your entryway should tell your story before you say a word.

Here’s how I styled mine, one detail at a time:

🖼️ Art with personal meaning
📚 Books from places I’ve traveled
🌿 Greenery for life and texture
🔑 A valet tray for everyday essentials
🤍 Bouclé ottomans for texture and extra seating

The finishing touch? Balance—without everything having to match.

Thinking about selling your Miami home? DM me “HOME” and let’s talk about its value and your next move.

A picture is worth a thousand words… and apparently 20+ hours of me being, as my daughter would say, a “try hard.” Trying way too hard to force inspiration.

When I started my most recent STR, my clients were sending me tons of inspiration! Some AI, tons of references, lots and lots of color, pattern and wallpaper. And I actually love all of those things. I could relate to the idea of what they wanted, but the examples themselves just weren’t my vibe. And with all that inspiration, I was anything but inspired.

I spent SO much time trying to figure out what they were seeing and trying to force myself into that direction. And the more I tried, the less inspired I felt.

Then I found this picture @wheelercollective 🙌🏽

And weirdly, that was it. Everything started making sense.

This picture isn’t colorful, but when you look at it, you get a feeling. A little moody, sexy, playful, nostalgic, tropical, collected. That feeling ended up setting the tone and unlocking the color palette, the wallpapers, and the direction for the entire property.

It was a good reminder for me that inspiration can’t really be forced. My best ideas usually come from a photograph, a piece of art, a textile, a color, and SOMETIMES just a feeling.

Once I stopped being such a “try hard” …..there it was.

Anzeige | Sometimes one piece of art completely changes the energy of a room🐚 Added ‘French Kissed’ from the Wheeler collection at @yellowkorner_official to the apartment today🩷

There is something so incredibly calming and nostalgic about this photograph😌It instantly brings that effortless, 70s Riviera elegance into the space. Framed it in white to let those gorgeous summer tones really pop🫶🏻

Are you ready for autumn decor yet, or are you still holding onto summer like me? 🥹
