Three weeks. Multiple countries. Two World Championships experiences. Four starts. 🇫🇷🇪🇸

Nice 70.3 Ironman World Championships 🇫🇷
The most challenging race I’ve ever done — and also one of the most incredible. It didn’t all go according to plan, but I’m proud of the fight and the experience of racing on that course.

Then across Spain to Pontevedra ITUWorld Championships 🇪🇸

🥉 3rd AG — Draft Legal Sprint
🥇 1st AG + 🥈 2nd Overall — Standard Distance Aquabike
6️⃣ 6th — Combined Age Category Mixed Relay

Three weeks of racing, traveling, exploring, recovering, laughing, stressing and celebrating.

The results were a great bonus, but the biggest takeaway was the opportunity to race in two amazing locations and experience everything that came with it.

First IRONMAN 70.3 in the books. Went into Augusta with one goal and that was to finish. Crossed the line in 5:18. Really thankful for my family being there, my friends who trained with me day in and day out, and most importantly God for giving me a healthy body that was able to do this. Definitely a lot I can get better at, but I’m proud of this one. Ready for the next!

We’re nearly there — Ride the Rivers, our flagship Century Ride is on Oct. 3. If you haven’t registered, now’s the time! Prices go up on Oct. 1, and then again the day of.

We’ll take off from Spanish Lake Park and ride the Riverfront Trail and across the McKinley Bridge Bikeway over to the beautiful MCT Trails!

Whether you’re doing the metric or full century, you get the full red carpet treatment. Our rest stops will be packed deep with all the snacks and hydration you could need, and our SAG support is tip-top.

After the ride we’ll be providing you a delicious lunch from Amighetti’s, and refreshing drinks from Perennial Artisan Ales and Fitz’s Root Beer.

Ride the Rivers is BACK on Saturday, Oct. 3!

Get ready to roll out from a new home base at the beautiful Spanish Lake Park for a ride that has it all. Tackle the Full Century or go for the Metric Century, both winding along the Riverfront Trail, over the Mississippi on the McKinley Bridge, and into miles open-wide miles on the MCT Trail system — with plenty of great food at every rest stop and a celebration waiting at the finish line with lunch from Amighetti’s, and refreshments from Perennial Artisan Ales and Fitz’s Root Beer under the Spanish Lake pavilions. You’ve earned it!

World Champs in Nice 🇫🇷

A race I’ll never forget.
The views. The course. The nerves. The suffering. The finish line.

Not everything went exactly to plan, but getting to race here was the opportunity of a lifetime—and I’m proud of the fight I gave it.

Nice, you were one hell of a ride. 🤍

A lot of work went into getting here, and I’m excited to finally put it to the test against the best in the world.

No big expectations. Just ready to race hard, have fun, and see what I can do. 🔥

One last MiTi post!

This was the hardest course I've ever done.

Went into this with plans to have a great run. I felt like I did a great run block and was prepared to have a big day. Really wanted to be sub 4 at the slowest during the run leg. As we can see that didn't happen.

As I walk away from this race, I'm able to look back on it and say it's the race I'm happiest with myself in so far. The only thing on my mind from the middle of the bike until the end of the run was that I should quit. The only thing on my mind when I finished was that I was glad I didn't quit.

Sometimes it's about finishing the race, not just winning the race. @mititanium was a day of finishing, not of winning.

Huge shout-out to @swim.blake.run and @mccarthymike99 for making this weekend happen and being there to support me the whole way on a not so great day for me. Also a big thank you to everyone who followed along and messaged me afterwards!

Time to get in some much deserved time off easy and to recover over these next couple of weeks before getting back to training
