Wrestling season is right around the corner. Great opportunity to get some mat time and dust off some of that rust. Great opportunity to catch up or meet future teammates!

Next up: We’re excited to welcome Mr Pablo Morales to the Elmhurst Wrestling family!

Pablo joins us from Wheeling High School in Wheeling, Illinois, home of the Wildcats. During his time at Wheeling, Pablo was coached by Elmhurst alumnus and All-American Charlie Curran, along with Johnny Carvajal, and Larry Shin.

Pablo’s accomplishments include:

* IHSA State Qualifier
* 2x IHSA Sectional Qualifier
* 2x Team Pin Leader
* Helped lead Wheeling to an IHSA Dual Team State appearance

Pablo plans to major in Sports Management at Elmhurst and will be competing in two sports as a Bluejay, as he is also a member of the Elmhurst football team!

In his spare time, Pablo loves building LEGOs. A LEGO builder off the mat, pin collector on it!

We’re pumped to have you in the Bluejay Nest, Pablo! Welcome to Elmhurst and we can’t wait to see all you accomplish!

Thank you to all the coaches for putting this together and recognizing the hard work that these warriors put into their craft. Christian was awarded the Wildcat Wrestling award. He works so hard and always leaves it all on the mat.

2A upset alert. Wheeling takes out rival and #3 Deerfield when it matters most. Looks like Wheeling figured out how to defend the judo moves and got some redemption from earlier in the season.
