Jazz (and picnic) at the Botanic Gardens on a gorgeous evening. And my gang even found a less crowded spot! Super relaxing. Highly recommend for the next one in late July!

Pink House Alchemy has a "just add gin or vodka and lemon" cocktail kit called Bees Knees. It includes a 16 oz bottle of Lavender syrup, a 4 oz bottle of Honeysuckle bitters, dehydrated lemon garnish and bee pollen lavender rimming sugar.

There are plenty of bitters, syrup and sugar for a month of cocktails or mocktails. Try drinking the Lavender syrup with tonic water for a non-boozy apertif.

How to Up Your Cocktail Game...

If you don’t like making infusions or seeking out exotic ingredients, try a cocktail kit to surprise your Valentine.

The “Gimme Some Sugar” cocktail kit from Pink House Alchemy includes a bottle of pH Hibiscus Rose syrup, 4 in-house dehydrated pineapple flowers, house hibiscus lavender rimming sugar, and the recipe card for the cocktail. You will need sparkling rosé and fresh lemon juice for the recipe.

“Gimme Some Sugar” has a certain chose your own adventure component; you can add gin or vodka, whatever your poison (or, you can adapt the recipe to create a mocktail).

Regardless, the "wow factor" of this cocktail kit is a great way to celebrate February 14th with your beloved, especially if you are staying in.
