Jah Wedge. With all my homies running my frame bags, I decided it was finally time to retire my Oveja Negra bag after its years of faithful service.

Historically, I wrote wedges off as a poor utilization of space, but being able to carry all of my water on-bike has been incredible. The bottles on my down tube are mounted onto the @botched.bikes dragonfly dressed in @ron_kingcage stainless.

I used a combination of evazote foam, 400d EcoPak and ultragrid from @challengesailcloth , along with some scraps I had lying around for the top stripe. Fabric was sourced from @ripstopbytheroll , @rockywoodsfabrics , and @adventurexpert.diy. Zippers are #10 molded from YKK. Stoked to test it out on this years @labikepackingsucks

Becoming Fast Friends. 👌🏽💨👌🏽
Not surprisingly, this bike is magical. Burnsey (Oddity) created a masterpiece. The V2 Squid Fork rides beautifully; the entire package is so snappy. Bellingham was a beautiful backdrop for our first real miles. The feeling of a completely titanium bike down to the contact points is special. Alive in a way other materials can’t mimic or match. ✨😁✨
Built as the little sibling to the Btchn MADE 32, using Paragon Sliding UDH Dropouts for an eventual swap to gears. Wolf Tooth hubs laced to Mavic All Road Rims (wrapped in the most dynamic rubber) fitted with a Wheels MFG SS Kit = Zippy AF! 🫡
5 Dev Ti Cranks, Klamper’s, Reform Saddle, and a full WT finish kit round things out. Dancing in the dappled light of Forest Park is nothing short of a treat; a dream bike for sure. 🍂🍁🍂

And so the summer fled, and the people changed.
They switched their treads from file to mud,
wore wool socks and gloves.
They called out to one another in the early dark,
Bring Lights, Bring Lights!
And lit pallet fires to keep the cold away.

And even then the loam returned,
And they underbiked through the ever green
Weaving magic in their turns
Handing up liquid warmth to their friends
And making merry at the dying of the year.

And on Sunday they gather
To celebrate, and revel, and sweat and bleed and sing
And live loudly, and banish the specter of Big Gravel.
Their steel frames cold, their one cogs sharp,
And in one voice they cry out, in spite of decency and common sense,
Welcome SSCXWC!

A great ritual requires a great center of power. Credit to donkelope for the frame, and parts from White Industries, Astral Cycling, Cane Creek, TRP, Wheels MFG, FSA, Schwalbe, and Enve. Powder by Stunt Doubles.

No downtube storage, no worries. This could be the next best way to carry spares and tools on your bike.

The Hootin Hauler is a modular system to carry whatever you can imagine on your bike from your bottle cage mounts or your bike’s accessory mounts.

Wheels Manufacturing has designed the base plate and a few accessory mounting options, and then they are leaving it up to you to come up with creative ideas to mount and carry whatever you can think of.

What would be the most underrated thing you would carry on this system?
