Synchronicity… a morning walking across the hill, admiring the mosses & lichens; wandering back along the fast-flowing river then peeling off the waterproofs before heading out again, this time to explore the shops and exhibitions. Who do I meet but the lovely @judithwildart & her dog Amber. We talk about nature, I notice some images, we talk about sanctuary, yoga, decompressing… I look round the beautiful space, turn a card over & discover it’s by Caroline, @whenpathscross then Judith tells me she’s in Ullapool today! Oh how I love serendipity💜. After lunch at @theceilidhplace I will be heading to the craft fair… who knows who I might see there??!!

A bright uplifting start to the New Year, walking the inspiring Coigach coastal pathways.

Thanks to my brother @paulbartondop for capturing this special moment. Looking forward to coastal workshop collaborations later in the year, here in Coigach and in Dorset with @paulbartondop and @yogaatthespace

What an inspiring week that was! Artists book week on the portfolio course is a jumping of point for many as it embodies many different disciplines and ways of working. A good lead in to 3D work. Hope you enjoy looking. #ullapool #bridge_house_art #artschools #artistsbooks #painting #drawing #paperengineering #portfoliocourse #portfolioprep #northwesthighlandsofscotland

It's been too long!! First post in a while where we see printmaking week take shape with dancing, figures, shoreline, pomegranates and sewing kits and journeys. All thanks to @kittiejonesart and @christinemorrison7624 and a group of extremely dedicated students. Then we hot footed it in the poring rain to see the ullapool lights turned on by the ferry.... Never a dull moment here... #ullapool #bridgehouseart #kittiejonesart #printmaking #hawthornprintmakersupplies #ink #portfoliocourse #happypeople #painting #artschools #northwesthighlands #figure
