Meet Where the Snails Go 🐌 A new theatre company centring wonder, play, connection and slow time in the natural world - and the one of the artists to join our Bowery Theatre Residency 2026-27 cohort. Founded by Lauren Swain (proud Dabee Wiradjuri artist) and Sophia Derkenne, their work is rooted in care for people and Country, community responsibility, and joy - participatory work that meets audiences where they're at. Their residency will support early development of a new work exploring heat islands in the west and their effects on young people. 'Frying an Egg on the Footpath' is a participatory public work co-created with children in St Albans, including participants from Stevensville Primary School.
