On April 19th, 2023, Where Is The Line (WITL) held a meeting with the current president of Christopher Newport University to discuss the next steps that should be taken in regards to the university's Title IX office.
President Adelia Thompson's email is posted on the following slides.

Additionally if you are in need of resources and support, but do not feel comfortable going to CNU's Title IX Office, in our bio we have a "resources and support" section in our Linktree for survivors in the Newport News/Hampton Roads areas as well as CNU's campus.

WITL is here for you and if you have any questions don't be afraid to reach out. Our GroupMe is linked in our bio and our confidential email is witl@cnu.edu.

Right now, we’re in what’s referred to as the Red Zone. It’s the time frame at the beginning of the Fall semester when the majority of sexual assault cases occur. When incidents of sexual violence arise, each of us have opportunities where we can step up to "Be The Change", both during the Red Zone & beyond. Learn how in our interview with @whereistheline_. ICYMI, the video is on our IGTV page.

Hour 2 Empower was such a success! Thank you to @fear_2_freedom for hosting this event and to all the students that took part. Over 300 kits have been sent to local providers to support Survivors as they come forward about their experience. Together, we can make campus a safe space for everyone, keep being the change!

What is Consent to you?
We asked a few CNU Students what consent meant to them, here are a few of their answers! They gave us very thoughtful and detailed responses!! Consent is an agreement between participants to engage in activies, no matter what the activity is. To end Sexual Violence, we must work together and ensure consent.💙

♥︎ T H A N K Y O U ♥︎ to everyone who came out to the Shadow Event last night! Where’s the Line put on such an amazing event in support of sexual assault survivors! ❤️ In the U.S., one in three women and one in six men experience some form of sexual violence in their lifetime. This on campus club works with Fear 2 Freedom to help support sexual assault survivors and restore faith and hope to those so tragically affected by this! Thank you again F2F and Where’s the Line!💓 #cnualphaphi #feartofreedom
