Auckland pop-rock five-piece Where’s Jai have quickly exploded onto the scene as one of Aotearoa’s most exciting new bands, with a distinct, globally resonating sound that’s already had them noticed by the likes of Lana Del Rey.

Following their breakout 2025 debut album Fresh Out Of Air, Where’s Jai recently embarked on a 10 date Australasian tour, having built a cult-following of dedicated fans reaching much further than their Tāmaki Makaurau hometown.

Made up of Grace Allis (lead vocals) Leigh Edmeades (lead vocals) Elliott Borland (drums) Michael Walmsley (lead guitar) Jai Nielsen (rhythm guitar) and Nate Fullerton (bass), the band blend infectious pop sensibilities with distorted, grungey alt-rock instrumentation, resulting in a live show that’s nothing short of exhilarating.

Don’t miss Where’s Jai at Tāmaki Makaurau’s Cross Street Festival on November 28th, 2026. Secure your tickets now at crossstmusicfestival.co.nz 🔗

The epic members of @wheres.jai headlining their major NZ/AUS tour! Not my first time capturing/seeing them live and certainly not the last, their stage presence is insane to witness and their collective talents work so brilliantly together.
Go stream their new song (you’re listening to it right now)

Huge shoutout to @muzicnz and @creativebyjade for the wonders that they are 🫶
