You know all the outfit flat lays I post to my stories? Whering is responsible for those. Whering has been an instrumental tool in my styling journey, not only for myself but also for some of my friends who started using the app after I introduced them to it. Whering has really made putting outfits together so much easier, since I can see EVERYTHING I have. Digging through my drawers to put together an outfit? Those days are in the past. ✨👗

Now my only problem is keeping it all folded and organized, which is a never-ending struggle. 🙃

Had a little work event yesterday, so I took the opportunity to get a little dressed up midweek.

I opted for this gorgeous #preloved @molbythelabel floral dress, I absolutely adore this floral postcard style print and the lovely neckline details. Teamed with my trusty old biker and a pop of colour from my gorgeous #miniseaton bag.

The whole outfit actual made me feel super, amazing how an look can really boost your confidence and mood.

Having had a lot of time recently I’ve been slowly getting my wardrobe organised.
Huge bag to the op shop ☑️
Thrown away old clothes ☑️
Invested in basic tanks, tees☑️
Bought some new pieces☑️
Started my shoe collection☑️

I have watched so many fashion influencers over the years thinking I wasn’t very good at organising an outfit. Problem was I just didn’t have the basics or the wide range of clothes they had.

So I’ve been very intentional…

I’ve been investing in basics and quality items.
And just recently I realised I was no longer struggling to put outfits together!

It was happening so often I wanted to record them so I didn’t forget what cool things I’d come up with. So I started searching for an App to help me. I so recommend @whering__ (this is not a paid partnership)
The app allows me to photograph my pieces and create outfits from my whole wardrobe. For a few $ you can unlock the selfie mode too. It’s simple to use and they do a great job of removing the background so you can see what you’re putting together.

These looks are from outfits I’ve worn this past couple of weeks and it’s so helpful cause as a visual person it helps me remember and plan far quicker than staring at a whole rack of clothes!

As I’ve been traversing this health challenge recently I want to feel creative and well dressed, not like an ill patient, I choose to move forward and my body will get the memo!

So, my advice if you need a jump start…

Buy basic tanks and tees in white/black/brown
Remove all old or ‘not you’ clothes
Invest in some ‘I love this’ pieces
Grow your shoe collection

Then get this app and start playing!

Happy Sunday lovelies 🫶🏻

One area I've been needing to invest in is basics/comfies for the weekend. Whenever you're looking for comfies you can't beat @_beyond_nine - especially for that signature horseshoe shape trouser that keep horrible opinionated men at bay!! Managed to pick up these navy blue daisy joggers via Vinted, after selling a few pieces that no longer work for me.

My top however is actually from the bag of clothes that live under my bed, favourite items that I've not been able to part with despite them not fitting. I had been looking for a new Bretton top so I was thrilled to find this one fit me again, she's a 10 years old Topshop 100% cotton knitted top. Super cute! Excited to style this and other items I have pulled back out from under my bed!!

Top - 26 wears (guesstimate)
Jacket 80 wears (guesstimate)
Joggers - 2 wears
Bag - 704 wears
Sunglasses - 127 wears
Trainers - 260 wears

I have never been one to wear brown unless in shoes. I don't know why but I didn't think I liked it. It was probably more because I didn't know what it went with. Turns out brown and yellow go really well together.
I've been wearing this colour combo heaps lately and on the weekend I went to @allingtons and picked up the perfect belt to tie all the outfits together.

It's got sunflowers on it which I love and it's from @purewestern
