Metal from Portsmouth, Ohio
NEW RECORD "EMERALD DREAM" out now

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

The first volume of Subject to Zine is DONE! Come by the A.C.I.D. Art Walk at the Roy Rogers Esplanade this Saturday between 1PM and 5PM to snag you copy. In the meantime, I wanna tell you about what is inside this beautiful orange bomb.

The inaugural issue of STZ will feature poetry by Dan Denton, Chandler-Ryan Campbell, Savanna Vaughters and Miranda Miller, art by Lindsay Odell, Kendrick Holbrook, Hank Boldman, Marie Laveau, Miranda Miller and Sean Kinner, a short story by Joseph Pratt, comics from Vincent Herman and J Ian Bush, photography by Kayla Holbrook, and an excerpt by Vortex Fritz from their YA "Ezra" series, with the cover being provided by J.I.B.

It will also have a music page featuring songs from the movie Rat Songs by A House Fire, Bearanoia (credited as Bearly Necessary), Raw Word Revival, The Tape Cassettes, The Whiteouts, The Further Along, While We Wait, Whippingstar and Feral Housecats, most of which we couldn't tag for some reason.

A huge thanks goes to Kayla Holbrook who did the entire layout and page design. This literally could not have been completed without her in a variety of facets. Big round of applause for her efforts on this!

The zine will be available in both black & white and color editions. B&W is $5 and Color is $10, with all of the proceeds going towards future STC film and sketch projects.

If you are not able to come get a copy, we will be selling them on our own online shopfront in the coming months, or just hit up Vincent Herman and sort it out.

Thank you to everyone who contributed your amazing art of all kinds!

Stay tuned for more info on our physical media and we'll see you at the Art Walk!
