Thank you @tastecanadaawards for the absolute best surprise of awarding The Feel-Good Meal Plan Gold in the Health, Lifestyle and Special Diets Category! What an incredible honor.

It felt like a very full circle moment to back in Toronto, just shy of the 1 year anniversary of the book launching last December!

I am so proud of this book and incredibly grateful for the village that made it a reality. Thank you to the amazing team @appetite_randomhouse for believing in me, my editors @rabrown757 and @whimack, my amazing publicist @gateau_superstar. @whambamthankyousam for being my right hand throughout the whole writing process, @pineconecamp for bringing the recipes to life with your beautiful photography and @karennicolay for your photoshoot support! @sophiamacken you made those tricky dishes shine. And of course to my fam. Meik you were the ultimate support in every single way and picked up so much slack at home when my capacity was maxed, my parents for swooping in to help with childcare and all of my friends and this incredible community for cheering me on every step of the way.

Thank you to everyone who has bought the book, shared it with a friend or sent me a kind message. It truly means the world.

LIFE UPDATE 🚨

Writing this on the plane from Toronto to home, as I do my best writing here. I hope you know that I’m extremely emotional and have been having a hard time with this update… but here it goes. Today was the last day at my dream job, the job a million girls would kill for (iykyk). It’s time for me to take a risk and trust my gut. It’s my time to go.

Here you’ll find just snippets of my FIVE YEARS at PRHC. Here you’ll see I met my best friends, so many work wives and besties and sisters and even a mistress. I also got to work with the kindest Vancouver team, and I definitely will miss our NY-styled little loft office in Gastown.

Here I met the best boss that taught me every thing to know about marketing (given I have no degree in it)! I’ve written my love letter to Michelle and she knows exactly how I feel about her—it will never change.

Here I also met a game-changer mentor and other best boss anyone would be lucky to work for. In another lifetime I’ll find my way back to Adria.

Here I also got to work with the most passionate and talented authors. I can’t help but share that @chefannaolson is an author I was most shocked to work with because I grew up watching her cooking shows on tv (a fun fact is I first watched her Bake with Anna Olson episodes in a London hotel!). I will be cheering her on and first to attend her Vancouver events (pls pre-order he upcoming cookbook, ANNA COOKS)! I also got acquainted with @cococakeland with her cookbook, Plantcakes. It was my favourite project (and something I truly feel is a good representation of my marketing work at PRHC). I led her book with a multi-prong marketing plan, and truly my heart is tied to this project! I’m lucky enough to now call her a friend. Plantcakes forever. There are so many projects I’ll never forget (if you must know a list check my LinkedIn).

Now this is getting too long and feeling like a sob story. I’m terrible with goodbyes, so this isn’t a goodbye. This is my greatest love letter to PRHC. I’m off to my next greatest adventure.
