It’s been a mad busy few weeks (and not letting up for another few months), but got my March MMQ blocks done just by our deadline.

Slower than necessary because hand-sewing is great forced downtime. 😂

Joined a quilt block subscription where you get a new pattern for a block each month and a chapter for a murder mystery. The quilt is also a mystery, so I don’t know what it’ll look like until December (just the theme, which is Orient Express this year). Attended Quilt Market, visited sewing friends in New York, vacationed in Paris, learned to knit, put my cat Sally down, recovered from the loss of my partner of 10 years, and decided to move from LA to Brooklyn

This year I’m participating in the 2026 Murder Mystery Quilt from @whip.stitch! This was the first block and I am so excited about it!

One more finished. This was a murder mystery quilt. Make the quilt and solve the murder. Don’t ask me who done it cause I didn’t figure it out. But I do enjoy all the FPP blocks in this one.
