The things I find impressive have less to do with looking successful and more to do with how you actually build and live your life.

Kinda chic.

Orea Adventure Crib - A portable crib designed for the outdoors.⛺️

Orea is the first portable crib designed specifically for outdoor enthusiasts, combining the safety of a nursery crib with the portability of adventure gear. Weighing under 3.6kg (8 pounds) and folding into a 22-inch carry-on, Orea is light enough to strap to a hiking pack alongside a tent and sleeping bag. The design balances compactness, durability, and comfort through a lightweight aluminium frame, breathable mesh walls inspired by tent construction, and a folding system engineered for quick setup. Certified materials, a waterproof base liner, self-inflating mattress, and integrated accessories including a bug net, sunshade, and blackout cover create a complete system built for wherever families travel. Designed to meet infant safety standards while enduring the demands of the outdoors, Orea brings a new category of gear for parents who want adventure to continue as their family grows.🏕️

Binbot - Modular last-mile delivery system.

Rather than redesigning the delivery robot, Binbot rethinks the entire delivery system. The concept separates the carrier from the container, using autonomous bots that transport standardised bins between retailers and customers. The low-slung robot wraps around the bin to lift and transport it, while the bin itself remains at the destination until collection. Rounded forms, a continuous black visor, and a restrained, non-anthropomorphic appearance give Binbot an approachable presence without relying on character-like features. By treating delivery as a connected network of bots, bins, retailers, and drop points, the project offers a thoughtful vision for more efficient and accessible neighbourhood-scale logistics.

Flexur T2 - A tactile synthesiser designed for expressive performance. 🎹

Built around the idea of reducing friction when creating sound, every parameter sits on the surface with its own dedicated control, encouraging instinctive, hands-on play. Signature floating touch bars enable fluid pitch and volume modulation, while varied knob profiles, grouped sliders and a playful palette create an interface that feels warm, approachable and tactile. Housed in a simple bent sheet metal enclosure with thoughtful ergonomics, the design balances precision with creative freedom. 🎶

This is not a SpaceX post.

Because while rockets and IPO markets are undeniably exciting, I’m obsessed with the part of the company-building story that happens long before the headlines.

Founder growth.

The kind that happens when someone walks into a room with an idea and walks out with conviction. The kind that happens when a founder stops saying “I think” and starts saying “we are.” The kind that transforms not just a business, but the person building it.

One of my favorite moments from our first cohort came from Marla Amafera, founder of Baby Inc.:

“Coming in, I genuinely just had an idea and a prototype. By the end, I have a company and an extremely tangible path to fundraising.”

Watching Marla’s growth from her first pitch to Demo Day is exactly why we built The Workshop.

The Workshop is @whipsawdesign accelerator for early-stage hardware founders. For 10 weeks, founders work side-by-side with world-class designers, engineers, strategists, and operators to transform ideas into manufacturable reality.

The result isn’t just a better product. It’s greater clarity, momentum, and confidence in what comes next.

If you’re building in hardware and care as much about your own growth as you do your company’s growth, we’re ready when you are.

Applications for WHIPSAW’s Fall 2026 cohort close next week.
