When you picture a tented wedding, you’re probably thinking about the beautiful tables, the flowers, and everyone celebrating inside. And we love that part, too. But before any of those details come together, there’s a whole lot happening behind the scenes that has absolutely nothing to do with choosing linens or centerpieces. Tented weddings are some of the most exciting celebrations to design because there’s so much freedom to create something from scratch. They’re also a completely different planning experience than working within an established indoor venue - and funny enough, some of the biggest decisions are the ones you’d never notice in your wedding photos! 💌 Now we want to know, could you see yourself getting married in a tent, or are you more of an indoor venue person? 🪩🍸🌸🦋 Taking this one from night to day - because color this good deserves to be seen in every light. Bright, bubbly, and full of personality, this Whitehall wedding was every bit as fun as the couple who inspired it. @whitehalleventsmd @floraandtang @hanagonzalezphoto @laurelandfilms @level.up.ent @veuxbeauty @honeywoodrentals @smthingvintage

I hear orange is the color of the month, but I don’t want it if it’s not the same shade as Whitehall’s historic halls! See also: a case study for having a great photo team. Some upfront planning told my team that the transition from ceremony to cocktail gave guests a rare peek at this epic space! I hurried ahead to get it in motion, while my incredible second grabbed it from her point of view, too! The most beautiful last-weekend-of-summer vibes, in tented wedding form 🤍 A sailcloth tent is a stunning blank canvas, but without intentional design, it can easily end up looking just that— blank. Working alongside the amazing @lynn_aaron of @nouvelleweddings, we created a space full of dynamics, height, movement, and texture… an atmosphere of elegance and beauty that was perfectly fitting for our wonderful couple. We loved this couple, this color palette, this vibe, and this day! ☀️ Planning & Design: LynnAaron for @nouvelleweddings Photo, Video and Content: @annaandmateo Catering: @linwoodsrestaurant Florals and Decor: @victoriaclausenflorals DJ: @pierrebakhostthedj Violinist: @lidicemusic Stationery: @riverandbridge Ceremony Strings: @popculturestrings  Beauty: @veuxbeauty Officiant: @marjorie827 Meteorologist: @stillman.dan Linens: @nuagedesigns Tent and Rentals: @honeywoodrentals Rentals: @selecteventgroup @whitegloverentals @goeventpro Photobooth: @monumental_photo_booths Transportation: @ridethoroughbred @charmcars Venue: @whitehalleventsmd Drummer: @karzon.mohamed Bridal Attire: @bridalreflectionsny @galialahav Bride: @yoyo_world88. . . . . . . . . . . #marylandwedding #marylandweddingflorist #annapoliswedding #annapolisflorist #marylandflorist | Whitehall Maryland wedding | tented waterfront wedding in Maryland

Still thinking about this unforgettable weekend with @pamelabarefoot_events! 🤩The celebration started with a dreamy welcome dinner, where custom striped ruffle placemats were paired with our Basil velvet chairs for the perfect pop of green. 💚 Then came the reception, and our Blagden Slatted Bar took center stage!! Surrounded by layers of black, from our Tuscany ruffle plates to Montauk caned tables and Laurent dining chairs, every detail felt felt timeless yet elevated! Never getting over this one! Summer got the best of us and we almost forgot to post one of the best Friendor Hangs to date ☀️ We basically threw our friendors a wedding under an incredible sailcloth tent - treating ourselves to a little summer soirée to celebrate a successful spring season, toast to a semi summer break, and wish everyone luck heading into fall. Delicious food & drink, beautiful details, even better company. The perfect kind of hang. With all the rain we’ve had lately, this beautiful Whitehall wedding feels like the perfect reminder that a little weather doesn’t have to change the feeling of a wedding day. When you’re surrounded by the people who love and support you most, rain simply becomes part of the story. This day was full of warmth, laughter, beautiful design, and so much joy, proof that the best celebrations have very little to do with a perfect forecast. Pamela Barefoot Events created the most beautiful setting for it all. Thoughtful layers of color, florals, texture, and a gorgeous tent that felt warm and inviting while the rain came down outside. A rainy wedding day at Whitehall in Annapolis, Maryland that was every bit as beautiful and joyful as it was meant to be. 🤍 Planning & Design @pamelabarefoot_events Venue @whitehalleventsmd Photography @vickigrafton Florals @sophiefelts Beauty @caitlynmeyerpro Tent & Flooring @honeywoodrentals Rentals @luxeeventrentals @fabeventsdc @somethingvintage @socialsupplydesign @dcreventrentals Catering @welldunncatering Paper @greyandcake Linens @nuagedesignsinc @stradleydavidson Tabletop Rentals @tablemannersdc Entertainment @theonyxband @washingtontalent #WhitehallWedding #AnnapolisWeddingphotographer #MarylandWedding #MarylandWeddingPhotographer
