Another provider coffee date! ☕️
This time with Dr. Brittany Zis, PT, DPT, of @motherbabywellnesscollective!

What started as a coffee date turned into a lovely two-hour conversation that wandered into family, our shared homeschooling experiences, and, of course, our work and approaches to caring for mothers and babies.

We found ourselves very much aligned in our philosophies, which is always exciting when meeting another provider!

One of my favorite parts of building LovingBirths Collective is getting to know the people behind the practices. When I recommend someone to my families, I want to know who I’m sending them to.

I’m so glad we connected, Brittany, and I’m looking forward to sharing Mother Baby Wellness Collective with my LovingBirths families! 💗

So many emotions from the Ironman 70.3 World Championship.

3 months of preparation. One day to give it everything.
No excuses, just discipline.

The highs, the lows, the pain, the gratitude. Every sacrifice was well worth it! God is so good!

Ironman 70.3 World Championship

All glory to God! An unbelievably tough day out on the course, and one I’ll never forget.

SWIM | 31:01 A really strong swim, especially with it not being wetsuit legal and battling a strong head current for 600m. Finished two minutes faster than my practice swim, which was a great way to start the day.

BIKE | 2:55 A strong ride on an extended 93km course with 4,000+ feet of elevation. Unfortunately, I crashed on the top of the descent trying to avoid other riders through a sharp turn. I slid out, scraped up my knee, and managed to make it down. Still put down a solid bike split on an incredibly demanding course.

RUN | 1:49 Absolutely brutal. Midday heat, one of the latest start times, and tired legs made for a seriously challenging run. Couldn’t stomach the gels and only managed two the entire race. My knee was aching throughout from the crash, but I kept pushing to the finish.

FINAL TIME | 5:21
The final time doesn’t come close to telling the full story of what this course demanded. The terrain, heat, elevation, and everything that happened out there made this one of the toughest races I’ve ever taken on.

What an incredible weekend. I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity to race alongside the best in the world! Although triathlon may be an individual sport, I couldn’t do this without the people behind me. To my friends, family, and everyone who continues to support me, thank you! And a huge thank you to @whitetailbikes and @haxclub for being part of the journey.

Made it to Nice 🇫🇷

After months of training, it’s starting to feel real. Made it to Nice and finally got to see the Ironman village, the course, and the place I’ve been working toward since May.

Still feels a little surreal knowing that in a couple days I’ll be lining up at the 70.3 World Championship.

Taking it all in, enjoying the experience, and grateful to be here. TYJ!
