WHITNEY McCARTER
@whitneymccarterr

Whitney is a 6 year veteran of the Victors Tennis team. This past year, she played every match at #1 Singles. Her professional coach is Agnes Gee at River Hills Tennis Club. @river_hills_club

Whitney has signed with Holmes Community College @holmes_cc @holmescctennis to play for their tennis team, starting this Fall! She will be attending HCC with current intentions to major in Industrial Technology. After Holmes, she will finish her degree at a senior university and she says “I never want to stop playing tennis, as I've been playing since I was six. Learning at such a young age played a huge part in my ability today. I would love to share my ability and knowledge, by teaching kids tennis lessons, once I am out of college.”

Her go-to Bible verse is 1 Corinthians 9:24: “Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.”

Whitney’s thoughts on Victors: “Victors taught me to fight for what I want and where I want to be. I want to thank this entire team and alumni for their ever growing support while on and off the court. Even when I lost, there were always bright smiles welcoming me off the court; it's something you remember forever.”
