Thank you for having a “big eff off party” so we could celebrate you both.

Really appreciated the theme “wear something you shouldn’t” for giving me the opportunity to wear my wedding dress again ✨

Such a fun weekend exploring Orange with my college friends and their partners without the kids 🤭

Oh my goodness, my heart is full to the brim 🥹

Last night was the very first @paletteforgood event, and if you wanted a perfect example of community and generosity, this was it.

I got to meet George’s family (George owns Stan’s Food Bar), many of whom travelled to be there. @cornerstoregallery was absolutely buzzing, the food from our local foodies was delicious, and the art from such talented artists was the coolest.

Five pieces went in to the live auction. My painting, Salt of the Earth, sold for $4k to George himself, I cried.

Then I bid on @kezzbrett big piece. And won. Buying a 2 metre painting right before moving house is both practical and exhilarating (girl maths). I’m absolutely thrilled.

The real cheese. The good bread. The butter on your potatoes…alllll of the butter, right @whitneyspicer 🧈

There’s room for pleasure at the table, alongside the veggies, fruit, seeds & wholegrains, legumes and all the other good stuff. You don’t need to earn it, compensate for it or save it for a “cheat day” (I’ve never really understood that 🤔)

And if wine isn’t your thing, leave it out. The point is to choose what you actually enjoy 🍻🫖🍹

After all - it’s not always about WHAT you eat, but how much you have, and how often you have it 😉

Opening this week at The Corner Store Gallery @paletteforgood brings together 13 talented local artists and some of Orange’s favourite food personalities to celebrate our region’s incredible creativity, food and community, all while raising funds for local food relief and rescue organisation @foodcare_orange

Join us this Thursday 15 October from 5.30pm for an evening of original art, delicious bites from our featured foodies and @desaliswines all for a good cause.
