ThrowbackThursday: My Plant High School Memories

I moved to Tampa in 2017 and joined Plant High School in 10th grade. I was new, nervous, and didn’t know anyone—but this place quickly became very special to me.

💛 My first friend Ethan was so kind and made me feel like I belonged.

💛 Dara was bold, fun, and full of confidence—I admired her so much.

💛 Anna was always sweet, gentle, and full of joy.

💛 Lily, Maggie, Vendela, SaraJeanne, Lauren, Jazzlyn, Kylie and Gabby—you made school so fun and full of love.

👩‍🏫 My teachers Mr. O, Ms. Radigan, Ms. Medina, Ms. Wilkinson, Ms. Thompson, Ms. Clark and Mr. Taylor supported me in every way.

👩‍🎓 Ms. Otero, Ms. Schardt, Ms. Russell, Mr. Gallon and Coach Mohan always made time for me. I felt heard and safe with them.

I even started my small alterations business while I was here! Ms. Radigan helped me start it

Plant High and Tampa gave me a place where I felt seen, accepted, and celebrated just the way I am.

I’m so thankful for my Plant Community 💖
